How to get your eSIM stress-free

Phone dials the number *#06# to check eSIM compatibility.

1. Check compatibility

Before booking an eSIM data plan for your trip abroad, you should check whether your device is eSIM compatible. There are exactly two methods to do this.

I. Check EID (fastest)

Dial *#06# on your keypad and press call. If the EID, a 32-digit number, is displayed, your device supports eSIM.

II. Check settings

The second method depends on the device:

iOS

Go to Settings - Mobile Data and scroll down to SIMs. If you see the option 'Add eSIM', your phone is eSIM compatible.

Android

Go to Settings - Connections or Network - SIM Manager. Scroll down and look for the option 'Add eSIM'.

2. Choose destination & data package

After confirming that your device is compatible, you can select your travel destination using our country search. Please note that a purchased eSIM only works for the country it was bought for.

If your trip includes multiple countries, we currently offer 27 regions that provide cross-border connectivity. You can find which countries are included in each package on the product page.

Once you've found your destination, you can choose the data package that suits you best. From 1 GB for short trips to 10, 20, and 25 GB for longer stays, we offer everything so you never have to be offline during your trip.

3. Install eSIM

No app is required to install and use our eSIMs. After a successful purchase, you will receive an email with a button that leads you to your order and displays your purchased eSIM.

You have two options to install the eSIM:

I. Scan QR code

Simply scan the displayed QR code with your camera and follow the steps on your phone. Then enable data roaming to ensure an internet connection.

II. Apple installation link

For Apple smartphones, we provide an installation link. Simply tap it and the eSIM can be installed as in the first method. If you prefer, you can also use the QR code instead.
